Our nurse Practitioner is a member of the nursing team who has undertaken additional training in order to treat a variety of minor ailments, e.g. tonsillitis, ear infections and rashes etc. He also carries out telephone appointments each morning Monday to Thursday to assist the doctor on duty for emergencies, by giving appropriate advice for less urgent matters. He runs his own clinic in parallel with the duty doctor and is able to issue prescriptions if required.

Our nursing team covers both Davenal House and Stoke Prior Surgeries. The service provided includes: general treatment room duties, routine immunisations, health promotion, cervical smears, chronic disease management, family planning and travel health advice.
